3. Design Studio II: Overall Goal (from Tuesday)
André is currently in Japan, where at the restaurant in the hotel, the servers carry with them little touch screen special devices on which they enter each order
The order is relayed to the kitchen, where the food is prepared, and to the cashier’s register, where a cumulative bill is kept until it is paid (cash, credit card, or as room charges)
Design the software that runs this system
do not worry about the user interface
focus on the back-end database and architecture

Poster and Stickies
Today, you will discuss each others’ posters and leave feedback with sticky notes (talking is allowed!)
Travel in groups of three so that you can discuss each poster
Use sticky notes to provide feedback/questions/suggestions/etc
Each sticky should have a name on it
Place stickies around the poster (not on, so the next person can see)
Supply permitting, use the same color sticky in each group
