13. Kings Dominion: Still under approval. May 2, 3 2013. (l eaving after school on Friday.) Cost: @$200.00. Includes Chartered Bus, Tickets, Hotel room, and 3 meals at this time. Cost depends on how many students and chaperones attend the trip. You must be in year long band to attend-Fall and Spring semester. Trip is in the Spring. What groups are going- Concert Band and Marching Band. Spring Travel Trip

14. Year Band and Semester Band Semester Band-Get to take other electives compared to year long. If you come back in 7 th grade band you will be a semester behind compared to year band. 7 th Gr. Band- you can sign up for Zero Bell-PE, still take Band and a Foreign Language for High School credit. (sometimes a high school credit computer class) 8 th Gr. Band- Marching Band counts as a PE credit. take band and Foreign Language for High School credit or high school credit computer class. High School offer the same electives as middle school and more.

18. Band Essay Music Student Scholarship Essay Contest through SBO magazine. Due- Dec 20 th online. Make a copy after you submit it and turn into Mr. Privette on or before Dec. 20th Topic- Now More Than Ever, Music Education Is Important Because…. 19. Band Monthly and Year Calendar. https://http://www.pamsband.com/calendar.html Practice Time at home Students are expected to practice at home. 15 -20 min. at least 4 days a week. Afterschool practice are from 4:00-5:25, they may ride the Activity bus after school home. The buses leave at 5:40. If a parent is not here by 5:35 to pick up their child the student will be put on the bus to ride home.
