About GPDP: An Integrated Planning “True democracy cannot be worked by twenty men sitting at the centre. It has to be worked from below by the people of every village.” - Mahatma Gandhi Both the Constitution of India and the State Panchayati Raj Acts lay emphasis on planning for local development An integrated plan by GPs for local economic development & social justice Focus on enhanced People’s Participation & Community Mobilization Need identification visualizing long term development Creation of cost effective local models & innovations Better utilization of resources especially untied funds & HR A step towards work-based Planning & Accounting system GPDP : A Bottom-up participatory planning exercise envisaging the following: Integrating Elements covering SDG Goals Poverty Reduction Human Development Social Development Economic Development Good Governance Public Service Delivery Linking Myth :GPDP is a Scheme/Grant , Reality: Its not a Scheme/Grant but an inherent integrated planning for local development

Guideline to GPs for inclusion of Low cost and No Cost activities has been released Use of print media and distribution of training manuals to spread awareness Intensive training & orientation State/District/Block level Weekly review of progress at Directorate level. Training manual of SRG, DRG and Task Force has been prepared. Training module of Own Source of Revenue has been prepared. IEC material like leaflet, brochure, community miking, curtain raiser, documentary etc. has been prepared and will effectively used in campaign.

All plans are being made online depicting all activities and resources as approved by Gram Sabha, Priority of works as approved by GS cannot be changed Abandon work would be available under planplus for taking into supplementary plan or next year plan Mapping of each work with Unique ID, technical & Admin approval, progress reporting of each work to capture physical progress Mapping of Spill over / continuous work in ActionSoft Voucher entry against each unique work ID in PRIASoft Expenditure details against the works created by GP GPDP Activities Resources (Budget) Main Plan Supplementary Plan Unique work Ids Technical Approval Admin & Financial Physical Progress Work Based Account Voucher Entry Expenditure Details Bank Reconciliation GPDP Mapping of Assets Use of Mobile Apps to capture Lat & Long MIS Reports

7 Progress So Far Detail discussion done with ACS and CS and strategy planning with RD and PR department. Instruction for the campaign from Chief Secretary level has been released. Instructions for the campaign released to all 75 Districts from Director, PRD level. Video conference has been done with 75 districts. Media workshop through RGSA to be done by 20th September, Reference material for the workshop has been prepared and shared to all 75 Districts. Model schedule of special Gram Sabha, Design of Public Information Board, Model Structure of presentation by frontline workers and Facilitators report format shared to all 75 Districts. Two days training module of Task Force members prepared and training is in process. Total Task Force team has been constituted (05 members team in each GP= total members). Approx TF members has been trained.
