3. Data Fitness Initiative for CIE
Promotion of the use of CIE
for the assessment of
ESF-funded interventions;
selection of a suitable ESF
intervention to conduct a CIE;
collaboration between CRIE
and Managing Authorities (MAs)
on evaluations foreseen in
their Evaluation Plan.

4. Data Fitness Initiative for CIE 2018
Two-type support to ESF MAs:
accompany 'data-ready' MAs with CIE;
accompany other prospective applicants in getting 'data-ready' for future CIE evaluations.
D4C-READY: ESF MAs are invited to provide CRIE with the data that are needed for carrying out a well-designed CIE of a specific ESF funded intervention
D4C-FUTURE: ESF MAs will be guided by CRIE through the year in the data collection and data linkage procedures to be ready for a CIE study in 2018

5. Data Fitness Initiative for CIE 2018
Selection :
Phase 1 (December 9, 2017 – February 4, 2018)
online questionnaire:
Phase 2 (February 5 – March 2, 2018)
Applicants of short-listed proposals of both types will be contacted in order to agree upon conditions on how to provide CRIE with the data (D4C-R) and how to manage the joint data collection activities during the year (D4C-F).
The deadline to submit the final version of the data for DC4-R is 31 March 2018.
