Dear Students, Parents, and Caregivers,
Hello and welcome back to school! I hope each of you had a wonderful, fun-filled summer! My name is Mrs. Lindsey Vander Pol, and I will be your child’s teacher for the school year.
I wanted to start the year off by telling you a little bit about myself. I grew up in Belleville, Illinois, and attended Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where I earned my Bachelors Degree in Special Education. I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have a one year old boy, Beckett! We live in Mascoutah along with our dog, Scruffy! I enjoy traveling, being outdoors, shopping, photography, crafts, party planning, and just overall celebrating life with family and friends.
This is my fifth year teaching at Carriel, and my fifth year co-sponsoring Student Council. I love every minute of being a Carriel Cougar and look forward to each and every day!
