1 Mrs. Hake’s Classroom News
Thursday, sept.21st edition Mrs. Hake’s Classroom News Sneak Peak AT NEXT WEEK Week in Review: This week we learned all about the letters Ss & Pp. We read many stories about Kindergarten . We made a class book expressing our feelings about Kindergarten. We also wrote about the new friends we have made in our class! As we write we continue to work on starting with a capital letter, leaving space between words, writing the sounds we hear, and ending our sentences with punctuation. We enjoyed popping popcorn using an air popper while we learned about our five senses. One of our favorite activities this week was our taste test when we tried something sour, sweet, bitter, salty, and spicy. We continued learning about various patterns. The number of rainbow words we know continues to grow! We’ve practiced our rainbow words by clapping, stomping, and completing pages where we trace it, circle it, color it and build it.
