Regional DTC Meetings & Upcoming Trainings 13

14 Future DTC Meetings DTC Feedback on DTC Regional Trainings
Like the opportunity to interact and connect with other DTCs Like to hear how other districts were dealing with common site readiness issues. Did not like the lack of new information and content. Did not like the travel time. Proposal for New Format Webinar format. Organized by assessment environment OS and device types. Can focus on specific issues like Java management or new devices.

15 Future DTC Trainings Deeper Learning with Pearson Tools
Proctor Caching Web Interface More examples of complex TestNav configurations in PearsonAccess. DLM Technology Preparations Webinars will be posted to the DTC Website

16 Site Readiness Trainings & Materials 16

17 Challenges From First Operational Assessment
Device, operating system, browser and test engine interactions New item types and tools Software updates Customer service and CenturyLink outages Bandwidth

18 Priorities for Future Administrations
Improve TestNav Exit Process Provide infrastructure trial resources that will allow districts to sufficiently test environments Refine PearsonAccess reporting features and status indicators Closely align PearsonAccess training and operational sites

19 DTC Recommendations Create Device Image with only "bare minimum” OS, Browser, and Java for a clean environment. Create “Kiosk” or GPO for standardized assessment environment. Use System Check (TestNav Verification Test) to validate that TestNav will load on machines. Freeze browser, operating system & Java environment if possible.
