1 Conclusions Working Group Rail Transport Statistics 9 – 10 November 2011
Ruxandra Roman Enescu

2 Conclusions (1) Point 4 (Data availability and mirror checks)
It has to be a single interpretation of the legal act and its definitions and methodology Countries have to ensure that data providers have the right understanding on how to report Where mirror checks show important differences (% in correlation with the absolute values), - Eurostat encourages the MS to discuss bilaterally - If problems linked with the interpretation of the definitions and/or methodology are detected, countries are kindly requested to inform Eurostat - In such cases, Eurostat will take the lead to solve these issues in collaboration with the MS (eg. Task Force)

3 Conclusions (2) Point 5 – Intermodal Conclusions
Eurostat will compile all comments received a.s.a.p The document will be send to all participants for quick comments/approval The updated version will be included in the report for the CGST in December 2011
