Step 1: Grab your How do I measure up worksheet from the back of the room.
Step 2: Grab a graph worksheet from the back of the room
Step 3: On the back of the How do I measure up worksheet write down everyone on your team name with their height
Take out a piece of graph paper
If you do not have graph paper take one out of the supply table at the turn in station.
*** Today we will be making a bar graph of everyone’s height in your team***

2. Graph Activity Turn to page 14 in your notebook
Title it : 10 required elements of a graph
Glue the worksheet on this page
Read over the 10 required elements of a graph
There is a larger version of this at your desk your desk

3. After Brainpop Look at the graph example on the board
You and your teammate will each make a graph of your teammates height in cm
Use your resource to make a graph
Make sure your y axis is set up correctly
Hint you must start at 0 and have it numbered properly

Step2: you may work on them for the next 5 minutes
- if you already completed them , DOUBLE CHECK and make sure you are not missing anything. Hold on to them I will collect them LATER
Step 2: Sit quietly, today we will be designing your own labs with the materials provided

5. Take out your notebooks Title page 15- Height graph
Glue in your graph on this page
Just fold the graph in half
