2 GUSTAR: TO LIKE (TO be pleasing to)
To say you like a thing that’s singular, use gusta. To say you like more than one thing, use gustan. ¿Te gusta el helado? Do you like ice cream? Me gustan los deportes. I like sports.

3 Before gusta/gustan, use these OBJECT pronouns:
Me gusta(n): I like… Te gusta(n): You like… Le gusta(n): He, She, It likes… Nos gusta(n): We like… Os gusta(n): You all like…(Spain) Les gusta(n): They/You all like.. ME NOS TE OS LE LES

4 Les can mean you (ustedes) or they
LE and LES “Le” and “Les” have more than one meaning. “Le” can mean he, she, it, or you (usted). Les can mean you (ustedes) or they

5 A Lisa y a Teo les gusta la pizza.
A PERSONAL To say who likes something, use the word a before the name. A Lisa y a Teo les gusta la pizza. Lisa and Teo like pizza.

6 Quién or quiénes Use a quién or a quiénes to ask who is being talked about. ¿A quien le gusta la pizza? Who likes pizza? ¿A quienes les gusta la pizza?

7 NEGATIVE STATEMENTS WITH GUSTAR
To say what people do NOT like, put the word NO before the pronoun. No me gusta la fruta. I do not like fruit.

8 TO ASK WHY? To ask why use: ¿Por qué? To say because use: porque EX.
-¿Por qué te gustan los libros? -Me gustan los libros porque son interesantes.
