The following are a number of suggested fertiliser programmes based on new P allowances. Prepare a farm fertiliser plan to determine field N, P & K allowances Formulate fertiliser programmes base on the following Soil Types ( heavy / light / peaty) Fertilisers should be applied as follows to reduce nutrient losses:- Select the Right Product At the Right Rate At the Right Time In the Right Place Protected Urea referred to as Urea+ in example fertiliser programmes in slides 12 tom 23. Refer to slide 4 for different protected urea formulations
