Start your search by entering a medical term or a clinical question.
You can type in either single or multiple medical terms and then click Go.
View search results. Do take note that when you move your mouse over each topic on the left, that particular topic’s outline is shown on the right column

7. Find an answer in search results…
The search results will give you a list of possible topics that may contain the answers to your clinical question. Once you have decided on that topic, click its link
The whole topic appears and first scan the topic outline on the left column in order to find the possible answer to your clinical question.

Alternatively you can find the answer in the topic outline straightaway…place your mouse pointer over Search Results, then the Topic Outline appears to the right of Search Results…Scroll down this topic outline and click through to find your answer
Do take note that Topic Outline changes when you place your mouse pointer over different Search Results’ Topics

9. Search for specific text within a topic…
You can search for specific text within a topic by clicking ‘Find in Topic’
Enter your specific text and click ‘Find’. Either use ‘Find synonyms’ OR ‘Find exact match’
Searched text will be highlighted in the topic…view highlighted matches in the topic

10. Topic contributors, review date and Medline abstracts…
Clicking each ‘Contributor’ allows you to have a transparent reference of the contributors
Whether the topic has been recently updated can be viewed with ‘This topic last updated:xxxxx’
Clicking reference number allows you to view the Medline Abstract
