Aliasgher Janmohammed (Ali) So today I was told to talk about data that is required for RS and therefore, I won’t tell you we have the highest road fatalities in the world, we have double the world fatality rate impacting children and that pedestrians are the victims of our road fatalities

Low road safety budget (Bishai et al., 2003) I want to divide my presentation on two parts, firstly I want to talk about why we need good data, then speak about what good data actually is. South African Provinces allocate a small budget to road safety

It tells us the road user to target Age group that should be targeted, and the time that impacts our road user Data should tell us what specific age group to target and what time places our people at risk.
