Identify up to ten Windows-based file servers and attached storage (up to 160TB) to assess
Run Data Migration Assessment script on the file servers to identify aged or seldom utilized data. The script is written in VBScript and PowerShell. Either one can be used. Both have same functionality.
Evaluate Data Migration Assessment results using Excel and PowerPivot to determine which volumes, shares, or folders can be migrated to StorSimple

Using the BI capabilities of Excel and PowerPivot, the result files from the assessment are analyzed (even if hundreds of millions of rows)
Data is assessed by creation date, modified date, last accessed date, and file type
Volumes are recommended for migration based on analysis of the file attributes
