Good morning, I’m Makur Jain from the Office of Teaching, Learning and Technology, and I’m here today to talk about a big change that’s coming to Exam Scoring.
Exam Scoring is the service which provides scoring for bubble sheets/Scantron exams. Currently, once an exam is scored, the reports are ed to the instructor on file, which can result in s with a huge number of attachments. Also, faculty have to wait on the Copy Center for any edits or rescores.
This process is about to get faster and more streamlined. Let me show you how.

2. Instructor Tools is the online user portal of Digital Desk, the software used to score bubble sheets/Scantron exams

3. Digital Desk now allows And/Required functionality for answer choices
If A and B are both correct answers
Question is marked as
AND
REQUIRED
Student bubbles
A or B = Partial points
A or B = 0 points
A and B = Full points

Reports available instantaneously after scanning
Review and edit Scantron exams from any semester

5. Rescore Individual or All students
Add Bonus Points (all or individual students)
Change decimal places for exam score

In larger departments, administrators help with grading, that’s why we have this. You will only be able to add somebody who has FERPA on file for them.
