Levy Key Facts… Levy will be introduced April 2017
0.5% of payroll for employers with a payroll of more than £3m Levy is mandatory for all employers, but funds can only be spent for English employees Government will top levy up by 10% Unspent funds will expire after 18 months Employer incentive of £1000 to support year old learners Levy funds can only be spent on Apprenticeship provision

Levy key facts… Non-levy employers will need to contribute 10% towards the cost of apprenticeships Some employers will need to move from levy funding to co-investment depending on available funds App funding is free for employers with less than 50 staff A Digital Apprenticeship System is being developed for levy employers to manage & pay funding Employers will choose their training provider from an approved register
