Academic Path or Career Tech (R7) Recognized by: Ohio Engineering Technology Educators Association Ohio Manufactures’ Association High School Manufacturing Career Specific Associate Bachelor’s Foundations Certificate Certificate Degree Degree 15-30 college cr hrs: Certificate areas: CNC Programming CAD/Design Tool and Die Chemical Technician Welding Seamless continuation from Mfg. Foundations. Most or all courses earned in Mfg. Foundations will apply. 60-64 college cr hrs: 15 cr hrs of program support (Physics, Computer programming, Math) 15 cr hrs basic (English, writing, humanities, economics, etc.) 30-34 cr hrs Technical (Engineering Technology courses) Seamless continuation…30-45 cr hrs may be completed in prior certificates. Example Pathway: 3-4 years of HS math 3-4 years of English and writing STEM courses Physics, Chemistry, and other sciences Computer applications and programming. May also complete a Career Technical pathway in manufacturing or related field (ex.
