3 Intelligence: ability to solve problems and create products in a specific situation

4 Intelligences may be exceptionally well-developed in individuals due to parts of the brain or culture

5 LINGUISTIC Deals with individuals ability to understand both spoken and written language, as well as their ability to speak and write themselves.

6 LOGICAL-MATHEMATICAL
involves the ability to analyze problems and issues logically, excel at mathematical operations and carry out scientific investigations the ability to use formal and informal reasoning skills such as deductive reasoning and to detect patterns

7 SPATIAL ability to comprehend three-dimensional images and shapes
primary function of the right side of the brain and is used when solving puzzles, figuring out maps and taking part in any type of construction or engineering project SPATIAL

8 BODILY -KINESTHETIC Use the body effectively, like a dancer or a surgeon. Enthusiasm of body awareness. They like movement, making things, touching. They communicate well through body language and be taught through physical activity, hands-on learning, acting out, role playing.

9 INTRAPERSONAL Gardner's theory challenges traditional, narrower views of intelligence.

10 INTERPERSONAL Is understanding, interacting with others. These students learn through interaction. When they have many friends, empathy for others, and smarts. They can be taught through group activities, seminars, dialogues.

show sensitivity to rhythm and sound. They love music, but they are also sensitive to sounds in their environments. They may study better with music in the background. They can be taught by turning lessons into lyrics, speaking rhythmically, tapping out time MUSICAL

12 NATURALISTICS have a sensitivity to and appreciation for nature. They are gifted at nurturing and growing things as well as the ability to care for and interact with animals. They can easily distinguish patterns in nature.
