Science
Purchase the Edexcel GCSE Revision guide &workbook available for £6 from the department.
Use GCSE Pod accessible through the VLE.
Access the online textbook using login provided – see Science teacher if you don’t have this.
Revise Edexcel 9-1 Physics Equations.
Access the Science VLE to use past papers/save my exams papers and revision resources.
Mathematics
Revise and Learn timetables up to 12x12.
Learn all your Square numbers and their respective square root from 1x1….. to 20x20.
Develop confidence working with Fractions, Decimals, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion.
Complete Mathswatch/ Summer intervention booklet (this booklet will be for year pupils).
Use the Mathswatch online tutor to support your work on the topics.
Download and Print GCSE Maths 9-1 papers form complete them and self-assess your work using the solutions (also on Maths genie).
Purchase GCSE 9-1 Target books. Two books covering all topics for £4.
English
Watch GCSE Pod videos about the GCSE texts (A Christmas Carol, An Inspector Calls, Macbeth).

Mandarin
Make flashcards on the vocabulary of GCSE Vocabulary list (Adexcel) (NEW) on GoChinese
Log on GoChinese to complete ‘GCSE Past Papers Edexcel’.
Design & Technology

Create flash cards for different materials/properties/tools.
Read the new specifications – WJEC – available on WJEC website or hard copy form class teacher.
Look at WJEC sample exam paper – available from class teacher.
SAM learning.
Art/Photography
Take photographs of the theme outlined by your teacher 10/11
Continue portfolio work – artist research and development of themes. 10/11
