2 Trilobites What modern day creature does this remind you of?

3 They are most similar to modern day horseshoe crabs, but were in the same family as lobsters, crabs, and etc. (arthropods/crustaceans)

4 Ferns This is an imprint of a fern fossil.
Does it remind you of anything you see today? Ferns are still alive today and look very similar to this imprint.

5 Crinoids Crinoids are still around today, but there are very few of them. Many of them lived during the Paleozoic era. They are also called Sea Lilies.

6 Gastropods What kind of rock do you think this Gastropod is in?
Does this Gastropod remind you of any animals you see today?

7 They are very similar to modern day snails and slugs. EWWWW!

8 Bivalves Bivalves are a type of mollusk. Many of them look similar clams. They are symmetrical on each side and hinged in the middle.

9 Fish Fish fossils are found in Missouri. What kind of fossil is this?

10 Mastodons What modern day animal does this remind you of?
They are in the same family as elephants and mammoths. They once roamed North America.
