It’s a girl Eleanor Roosevelt was born in New York October 11, Her parents Anna and Eliot where very wealthy and had a large summer house in the country.

Eleanor's mother was a very pretty lady, but Eleanor was not as pretty as her mother. Her mother called her Granny.

When Eleanor was just eight her mother died, but she still had her loving dad that gave her cute nicknames like My Little Golden Hair.

When Eleanor was just fifteen she went to Allenswood, a boarding school in England. This was the best school she had ever went to. She never wanted to leave.

Eleanor returned to New York in She was almost eighteen years old. That was when she joined a junior dance league where she worked with girls until she started to hang out with her cousin Franklin.

She began a life long devotion to help the poor .

Then Franklin, her cousin ,took Eleanor to all his college football game that he played in.

Then they fell in love with each other because they spent every minute together. She took him to the junior dance league, and they got married.

On March 17, 1905, when they got married, all their friends that they invited were more interested in Eleanor's uncle, President Theodore Roosevelt.

Eleanor and Franklin had six children, but one of the babies died when it was an infant. There were still five children left, four boys and one girl.

Eleanor helped a lot of people and gave really good advice
Eleanor helped a lot of people and gave really good advice. Then her husband Franklin Roosevelt died, so she was no longer the first lady. Then a day came when she died in a slight whisper of death on November 7 , 1962.
