Carbon Management Social Value Chaired by a NED and contains representatives from key clinical and support services, plus the unions and UoL. SDSG reports to Resources & Performance Committee twice a year. In addition, the Sustainability section of the Annual Report is presented to Trust Board, with a refresh of the SDMP to meet SDU requirements.

13 Facilities Management
Travel - Promotion of travel hierarchy - Carbon reduction Facilities Management - Meeting NHS / Govt targets - Carbon reduction through energy and waste Procurement - Local suppliers / spend Buildings - New Royal - Capital schemes Carbon Management Carbon Management group existed since Trust took part in Carbon Trust CMP, so already understood by key staff in Trust. Some crossover with other modules, but able to focus on key actions.

14 Models of Care Community Engagement Social Value Adaptation Workforce
- Environmental impacts - Telehealth / Care from home Community Engagement - Local suppliers / spend - Sustainable communities programme Workforce - Health & Wellbeing - Green Network Adaptation - Impacts for staff - Impacts for care Social Value Link between SDSG and H&W group, to avoid any duplication (also considered in reporting framework). Social Value used as nice overarching title (although there are some aspects that sit outside general terms for social value). CCG agreed SV Strategy, so Trust has to deliver, rather than expect suppliers / contractors to. Because GCC provides each module with an overall %age score, we can use sub-group to show that the Trust is delivering social value.
