If planning to attend a four year college, sign up for SAT/ACT testing- or
fee waivers available for those who qualify- see Ms. Marek
Always send your scores- it doesn’t hurt you, it only helps you!
Sign up in the counseling office for:
College Representative visits
GRASP meetings (financial aid) sign up in counseling office
ASVAB (FREE career interest assessment)
KWHS Career/College Fair on November 1st from 9-11am

6. SAT/ACT INFO: COLLEGES WILL TAKE SCORES FROM EITHER OR BOTH TESTS
PREPARE! FREE PREP ON BOTH SITES!
SEND SCORES TO COLLEGES WHEN YOU REGISTER- IT’S FREE! (you have to pay a fee if you send them after you test)

8. ART, MUSIC, OR THEATRE MAJORS
CHECK THE COLLEGE WEBSITES TO SEE IF THERE ARE ADDITIONAL COLLEGE APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
ART- You may have a portfolio to complete. See you art teacher for help.
MUSIC/THEATER- You may have an audition to do.

GET A JOB – Yes, you earn money but you also learn valuable life lessons through working
VOLUNTEER – Not only are you helping someone else, you also help yourself by meeting other people and learning from them
