1
Function of Nattokinase (NSK) Excluding Thrombolytic Prevention
From The View Point of Platelet Aggregation Inhibitory Action
2
Good Blood Circulation ・Bad Blood Circulation
Healthy RBCs Deformability High Platelet Aggregation Inhibitory Effect Low LDL and Triglyceride, High HDL Low Blood Viscosity High Thrombolytic Effect Bad Blood Circulation Poor RBCs Deformability Low Platelet Aggregation Inhibitory Effect High LDL and Triglyceride, Low HDL High Blood Viscosity Low Thrombolytic Effect There are other Factors e.g. Stress
3
Platelet Aggregation Inhibitory Effect of Nattokinase (NSK)
Place : St.Marianna University School of Medicine Intractable Disease Treatment Research Center (Dr. Keiko Hoshi) Method: Ten healthy subjects (7 male:age 28 – 59, 3 female : age ) were administered 4000 FU of nattokinase (NSK-SD manufactured by Japan Bio Laboratory Co., Ltd. , equivalent to 100g of natto {two packs of commercially available natto}). Platelet aggregation was measured before and after 3, 6, 12, 20 hours from administration. Obtained blood specimen was centrifuged 180×g for 10 minutes and made that top clear layer as PRP. Centrifuged ×g of the remaining specimen for 15 minutes and made it as PPP. Dilute PRP with PPP and adjust the plasma number to 25±3×104/μl to be specimen. Collagen (final density 1 μg/ml), ADP (final density 2 μM) were used as an aggregate inducement. Plasma aggregation efficacy was measured by means of PA-20, Platelet Aggregation Analyzer of leaser scattered light photoelasticity. (Kowa Co., Ltd.)

Report of Platelet Aggregation Measured by Leaser Scattered Light Photoelasticity (Scientific Demonstration of Platelet Aggregation Effect Enhancement) Acute Hyperglycemia (Sakamoto etc) Smoking (Fusegawa etc) Coronary Vessel Atrophia (Miyamoto etc) Acute Coronary Syndrome (Eto etc) Diabetes (Iwase, Fukuda etc)
9
Comparison of Spontaneous Agglutination Between Healthy Subjects (Control) and Diabetic Patients (DM) by Particle Measuring Method Stir for ten min. at 37℃ in Cuvet without adding aggregate inducement. The spontaneous aggregation of DM were higher than that of Control and it is also indicating high value. (*P<0.01)
10
Relation Between Diabetic Retinopathy and Spontaneous Agglutination Compared with healthy subjects (C),diabetic patients marked high value. In case of diabetic patients without retinopathy (-), formation enhancement of spontaneous aggregation is also confirmed. It is prone to indicate higher value as the symptoms are aggravated. (○equivalent to ten times of ●. *P<0.005, ***P<0.01)
