9. Constitutional Monarchy
In a CONSTITUTIONAL MONARCHY, there is a monarch who holds a ceremonial role in government but has little real power. Monarch is head of state but largely a symbol of the country

Power remains within the family
Found in Medieval Europe, modern Saudi Arabia

15. Communism
In theory, all wealth and property is owned by everyone, “Workers of the world unite!”
“Rule by all” turns into “rule by one”
Ruled by one party (Communist Party)
Government controls all property
Media controlled by government
Purpose is to have government ruled by the people, one person takes complete control

Ex: North Korea, Cuba, USSR, China ???

16. Dictatorship
One person takes complete control of the government, usually by force
Control is maintained by force and fear
Strong sense of nationalism
Strong central government
Lack of personal freedom
Ex: Nazi Germany, Iraq under Hussein

ISIS is a modern theocracy
