Students may not be discriminated as a result of:

ethnic group religion religious practice
disability sexual orientation or
gender (including gender identity or expression)
…by school employees or students on school property.

3. Did you know?
> More than 1 out of every 5 students report being bullied.
> 64% of students who were bullied did not report it.
> The reasons for being bullied most often by students were: looks, body shape, and race.

4. National Bullying Prevention Center States:
> Kids who considered themselves very overweight were not only bullied, but indicated more loneliness.
> Students might be more apt to pick on their classmates when they are modeling after adult behavior.
