6. Indian River Middle School It Really Means Success What is DASA? The “Dignity for All Students Act” is a New York State law that was implemented in 2012. It is designed to provide a learning environment free of discrimination, harassment and bullying. In the 2013-2014 school year, DASA included cyber bullying and the use of electronic communication that may disrupt the learning environment. DASA works to help prevent discrimination, harassment and bullying through civility, citizenship and character education.
