Preschool years School-age years Adolescence years

3 Terms to Define… Growth: the process of growing and progressive development (measurable) Development: the act, process, or result of developing. A project that becomes accomplished in stages.

4 Basic Laws of Growth & Development
A. Development is similar for everyone. B. Development is built on earlier learning. C. Development proceeds at an individual rate. D. The areas of development are interrelated and continual throughout life!
