5. Places I love to relax-Michigan Beach summer 2012 east.
This is one of the places I love to spend a lot of time in the summer in Charlevoix. The beach is off of Lake Michigan where you can see several fishing boats and tour boats. People fish off the pier and love to snorkel in the water for Petoskey Stones. (Physical characteristics of place.)

9. Places I visit: Pictured Rocks

Anytime I can spend time hiking around and seeing new places I do. This was taken up north at pictured rocks in Grand Marais, MI. It was such an awesome trip and the water was so blue and the trees were beautiful. This was overlooking Lake Superior (Physical Characteristics of Place; Great Lakes Region)

10. Sault Ste. Marie locks- Summer 2012 north-west
In the city of Sault Ste. Marie, MI the giant freights carry supplies which have to come through the Sault locks. It is an amazing process to watch. (Movement of Goods: Human- Environment Interaction; Region)

11. Sleeping Bear Dunes: 11 am August 16, 2011 East
This is one of the places I would always go for my birthday. It is located in Empire, MI and we go to a spot where you have to hike for a couple miles. It is beautiful blue waters with birds and fish galore. You usually see people fishing on the shores or kayaking. (Physical Characteristics of Place, Absolute Location)
