Detailed description of contract:
Administered under a JCT Minor Works contract with elements of Contractors design. A bespoke medical facility constructed close to Mansfield town centre on a brownfield site within a designated conservation area.
The external building fabric was designed to fit sympathetically with the late 19th century appearance of the surrounding buildings. With disabled access to both storeys including four consulting suites, minor operations room, nurses room, patient waiting, offices, staff room, plant room & storage.

Clearing the site; which was derelict and subject to fly tipping for many years – Removal of contaminated waste including Japanese knotweed, hypodermics and hazardous chemicals
Managing vehicular movements onto site from a busy ‘one way’ town centre road whilst protecting pedestrians
Phasing of material deliveries and waste removal to maximise storage space on a very restricted site – building footprint covered approximately 70% of the total area
