Second, I’d like to spend a couple of minutes on the question of “What is AppFoundry?” and I’d like to give you a quick re-cap on our current Genesys platform portfolio.  Next, I’d like to give you a status report and give you a deeper insight into what we’ve achieved in 2016. As we’ve updated the AppFoundry Program by April 1st 2017, I’d like to give you an introduction to the recently added options of AppFoundry. So at a glance Genesys now handles over 25 billion interactions a year, we've got over customers, over a thousand partners, over employees and a very strong revenue base. We've also been very public about our R&D spend. This is not covered on the slide, but in case you missed it: Genesys has shared publicly that we have over 200 million dollars a year spent in R&D and that number - while impressive in and of itself - is even more impressive when you consider the fact that it eclipses the combined R&D spend of our top three competitors in the space.  So we’re really keeping our focus on innovation e I think that this this provides again a great message to you - or ecosystem partners - and that we are going to continue to innovate on the platform to make it a stronger platform and a place you can deliver ongoing innovation in the market but also expand your market.  Genesys has always been known as a brand that caters particularly well to the large and extra large enterprise - the Fortune 2000 if you will - across the globe, and we have had a good amount of success over the last few years in the mid-market space as well. But to be fair: Interactive Intelligence has more success in that mid-market space and with the addition of their products and their portfolios to the Genesys family the message for you are ecosystem partners is that your market has expanded markedly. ven as we go through this next stage in our evolution. 

5 Customer Experience Platform Portfolio
So the three offers that make up the Genesys portfolio are here on the screen are PureCloud, PureConnect and PureEngage. We've rebranded the portfolio to have a common naming as we are one company now and it's really important that we have a single face to the market. PureCloud comes over from the interactive intelligence acquisition. This is the all in one contact center offer, which is a very capable. It is also very much a self-service platform that customers can use and it enables them to control their own administration and their own onboarding in many cases. And it is a a platform that's been built 100 percent into the fabric of AWS. It has a very strong architecture for rapid innovation and improvement on that platform.  PureConnect, formerly known as CIC, customer interaction center and CAAS, the cloud offering of the first generation Interactive Intelligence product is an all in one multi-channel offer.   Again, this platform is very very straightforward to deploy and administer and really the strongest software in the mid-market space for a number of years and will continue to be targeted there.  If you're coming to us from the interactive intelligence ecosystem or particularly if you're familiar with interactive intelligence, you know that the the focus over the last 12 months has gone off of CIC and CAAS, but I'm here to say very clearly that we're committed to that platform and we are really reinvigorating the roadmap and the focus on selling that platform. And it is really an opportunity for the Genesys ecosystem to now extend their offer to that mid-market space in force. And finally PureEngage is the old Genesys that you know and love.  This is our our omni channel offer of the clear omni channel leader in the market. And again the cloud and premise Genesys offer that those in our program know well.

Again, whatever platform we're talking about customer engagement is about digital engagement, inbound voice,  self-service be it IVR or digital and outbound voice capabilities.  Employee engagement: In order to have engaged customers you have to have engaged employees. So we provide a full suite of workforce optimization capabilities to constantly improve workforce performance and measure their performance. The fully integrated omni channel desktops are truly a focus over the next year to prove the omni-channel capabilities of of the PureConnect and PureCloud offers. And finally with the addition of the PureCloud set of collaboration capabilities the Omni-Channel Desktop capabilities can extend across the enterprise. In order to run your business like a smart one, you need the business optimization capabilities, like workforce management and analytics to be able to measure the performance of the of the context in your operation and improve it. And of course the open platform, the open API and its SDKs that allow partners like you on this call, to extend the functionality of the platform and to ensure for our customers to integrate your software into their existing environments and leverage those investments going forward.

AppFoundry Program and Marketplace So that is a quick recap on Genesys and where we are after the acquisition.  I really want to stress that that's the message I'd like to leave you with here today is that I think that this presents a great opportunity to expand your addressable market. And it just gives us more capability to execute across the entire contact center space. It also allows us to take an opportunity to improve the program.

Enhanced and improved marketing for partner applications & solutions Ability to directly compensate Genesys Sales $ per $ license quota relief The only way we will enable integrations with Genesys Cloud As you might already know, the AppFoundry is a marketplace for third party applications and also THE program through which we provide exposure to our ecosystem partners, ISV’s, SI’s and developers, as we want to give them a direct path to market and the ability to compensate and incentivize the Genesys sales team.  AppFoundry is not just a website listing third party applications, but it is a true enterprise marketing program, which you can leverage to get exposure to Genesys customers and partners.  The base of AppFoundry is a general partnership with Genesys, as AppFoundry is highlighting your Applications listed in the Enterprise Marketplace. The partnership itself is basically a Technology Partnership, covering all aspects of relevant items such as access to our documentation, access to Marketing Material, Access to discounted Trainings,  Access to our Software as well as our SDK’s and access to our Developer Enablement team.  With the listing of a Solution in AppFoundry, we finally give you the opportunity to incentivize the Genesys Sales team, as the shared revenue in AppFoundry will provide them $ per $ license quota relief and compensation. AppFoundry today +150 Apps +120 Technology Partners Let’s do a quick recap on on what we did last year. AppFoundry today lists about 130 applications and you see the partners from the merge with Interactive Intelligence starting to pop up in AppFoundry.  You're going to see that number grow very quickly over the next couple of months. We've also had the front door of the program closed for the last last three months since the first of the year. At the same time we've been putting together the two companies and putting together the 2 Marketplace programs. So we've got a backlog of about 30 applications that we're going to be working through. Expect to grow to grow very quickly over the course of this year upwards of 200 applications and in the short period of time. But in the years since we've launched to be at over 130 applications from over 80 partners we're really excited about what we've seen from our ecosystem and really proud of of where you've helped us take the program already.

Over 200 introductions to Genesys accounts, over a thousand leads generated for partners from Genesys marketing activity.  And as I said before a 100 percent growth in AppFoundry Listings and the 500 percent growth in our developer community. A quick note on developer community: If you're not already aware of it as a partner go to developer.genesys  .com. This is a Incredibly valuable resource for you. And since we launched it about the middle of last year we've got over 500 active users of the developer portal.

We had over unique sessions from over users nearly page views and per session nearly four pages viewed per session. So that that means that viewers weren't just coming to the main landing page and bouncing right away. The average viewer was was going through and viewing at least three to four pages every time they visited. This is pretty strong for the first year. And as we began marketing this program more and more aggressively as we're going to cover today we expect that to just improve Genesys confidential and proprietary information. 15 2016 Major Milestone A lot of the changes a lot of the updates we're going to cover and webinars today are a result of this major milestone that's on the screen right now. As you must know in December we closed on the acquisition of interactive intelligence. I personally couldn't be happier about this acquisition. It allowed us to up to pair up with our strongest most innovative competitor in the market. I think if you're in our ecosystem you'd likely watch our market very closely you might know it's widely recognized that Cisco's really pulled back on the contact center customer experience space and is not as invested as they  were the last three or five years.  And of course Avaya and and Aspect's financial troubles have been quite public over last 12 months. And that puts Genesys in a very strong position and with the again with the acquisition of interactive intelligence we are without a doubt no matter what segment of the market you're looking at the de-facto leader in the contact center and customer experience space.

If you go to  can see the marketplace and you can see We have various different categories defined in the marketplace, associated to the Genesys taxonomy. It's a very modern full featured marketplace with a carousel of featured applications and a variety of featured application listed below. And we've even equipped the AppFoundry with the Genesys digital engagement widgets so that if customers have questions can accept the offer to chat and chat with the Genesys sales development representative to log their questions which we will then pass to the partner that they're asking questions about. We do use the leading enterprise marketplace platform for the AppFoundry. And that is AppDirect. AppDirect is THE enterprise marketplace that such enterprises as IBM and many of the carriers like Telstra, AT&T Verizon business all use for their enterprise marketplaces.  It has the ability to host multimedia content, so as a partner you'll be giving control and maintain control. If you are an existing partner you control all of the content. You can enable your listing with multimedia content. Looking on the right hand side of the screen I'd highly encourage you to use the social media sharing buttons. You can see Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn are clipped on the right hand side of this listing allowing you to really quickly push out your listing on all those different social platforms. Finally you see the "learn more" button the top right. This is the call to action for the majority of listings today. As we start to enable the accessory app category, the "learn more" button for accessory apps will redirect to the ordering functionality of the marketplace. With the "learn more button" the customer fills out a form and that data will be passed directly to you - our partners. We want our partners to have direct view of the leads that are coming into their listings, so that they can follow up on them directly.  Of course we also maintain a record of those leads. So that when you reach out to us and ask us to set up introductions with our sales force we are more than happy to do that. Normally we are going to send you an introduction to the respective sales account manager anyways for the particular account. That that brings me to one of the other key values of the program. In a little bit were going to be talking about how to start to think about being successful with the program.  One of the most important things I want to leave everyone on the webinar with - is the need to take your opportunities - whether they're coming through the AppFoundry portal, from Genesys events or from your own marketing activities - to us - the AppFoundry team - to make introductions to the local sales team and to help you, that those opportunities can be worked on collaboratively.  If you bring any opportunity to us, or any lead to us no matter where it was generated -  as long as it's Genesys account, we'll make an introduction to that sales force within 24 to 48 hours.  That's our SLA to you.  And again with the fact that your Revenue Share goes to directly retire license quota for our sales force, they have a very natural incentive to help you further with those opportunities.

19 AppFoundry Marketing Program
One more thing we wanted to cover today is AppFoundry marketing. In 2016, we started to offer more marketing opportunities for our AppFoundry partners and in 2017 where we're putting a real focus on this. As a new program, 2016 was really the startup year. We were getting the program in place ironing out some of the onboarding, partner recruiting and enablement activities. Again the first year of the program was really about getting the program in place and an important part of that was providing the link to our sales force, so you could engage directly with those accounts and further opportunities no matter where the leads were coming from. We started with the Partners and Friends webinar where AppFoundry members are able to highlight their application directly to Genesys sales. We invite the entire sales organization to join this webinar and have seen great engagement. The audience is composed of Business Consultants, Account Executives, Marketing, Engineers, Customer Care, really every group in Genesys.  The audience seeks to understand.  Most of the audience want to know why they should bring a particular partner into their accounts and most of all, how does Genesys and the Account Executives make money with the Partner. We really want to focus on becoming an engine for opportunity for our partner ecosystem. And in 2017 we think that the biggest value that we can provide to our ecosystem is really focusing on enabling more of a structured marketing program where we can help you get the word out not only to our salesforce but also to the customer base about your value added solutions.

On appfoundry.genesys.com we have the featured application carousel and the other featured apps below it.     We rotate on a regular basis based on a combination of what our field tells us customers are finding interested in and the direct metrics that we're getting from the app foundry on which pages are getting the most views.  Next, Social Marketing We do provide the opportunity for AppFoundry members to co-author blog posts with us that we publish on the Genesys and AppFoundry blog site. And we will push out those blogs on our social media properties. So if you do have an exciting article that you think warrants the attention of the Genesys customer base, feel free to reach out to us. We want to make these Blog posts more thought leadership rather than pure sales pitches so they will be read  and sort of scrutinized through that lens.  And again use the social media buttons directly within your listing to promote your applications. We tend to do that also regularly within the AppFoundry team. Now for the Customer & Partner Newsletters We have customer partner newsletters that go out on a monthly basis. The customer newsletters go out within the Genesys customer base to over subscribers. Our partner newsletters are subscribed by over individuals within our SI, VAR and technology partner ecosystem that the partner newsletters go out to. Again we can promote the blogs and other marketing activities in featured articles and we have advertisements banner ads for two featured apps that go out with every one of those newsletters. We do have opportunities for both internal and external facing webinars. The external facing webinars being marketed to our installed customer base and our partner webinars being marketed to our entire sales force, as I talked about earlier. Those take place on a weekly basis and we do have a pretty full schedule of partners that we're constantly updating and rotating through that through that schedule. For marketing - We find this to be the most effective of all the categories. Ideally when those include customer success stories we've seen just phenomenal performance for the marketing to our installed base. One of the the campaigns that we ran late last year delivered over 400 leads from one distribution. Finally our CX events - Any AppFoundry member is given the opportunity to sponsor our events globally, whether there be a large CX events or the more regional G-summits or customer days. If you're a partner, you have the option to sponsor these events world wide.. In many cases we provide preferred pricing to our AppFoundry members trying to really make it possible even for the smaller partners in our ecosystem to take advantage of these valuable opportunities.

1H Marketing Dedicated to High Potential Applications Customer Webinars Highlighting Technology Partner Webinars Promoting AppFoundry Applications 04 Customer & Partner Webinars Regional Allocation of Marketing to High-Potentials Through 1H 2017 we will align all AF Marketing to the HiPos. In 2H 2017, we will level the playing field by offering marketing packages that bundle multiple elements together at different price levels. HiPos reviewed/revised every 6 months 1 Application per month in each region Webinars will be on-demand Allows for repeat/reuse across regions 1 Campaign per month in each region Recommended to include multi-media content and infographics campaings wih modern content behind the call to action, that deliver leads back to the partner 05 Marketing As we look at 2017, the areas we’ve really focus are the blogs, webinars and marketing. And we have been executing these activities through the first half of 2017 with our high potential marketing program.  The high potential marketing program is really dedicated to our high potential partners.  We determine who the higher potential partners are by working with regional sales and marketing leadership and reviewing with them our portfolio of partner applications and allowing them to choose what has gotten the most interest in their customer base and what they think their customers will be most interested in.  We generate that list on our side with the ones that have gotten the most activity over the last year. But ultimately, the decision of who makes the High Potential Partner Application list for each region is in the hands of the local sales and marketing personnel on the Genesys side.  We review those lists every six months and requalify them. In the first half of 2017 we’ve provided a very focused high potential marketing program. You may have seen this, if you're part of those lists somehow. And now through the end of 2017 and going forward after that we are going to level the playing field and open up all of the marketing activities including the marketing and the webinars and all marketing opportunities to all AppFoundry members to access the entire Genesys community.

The monthly campaign schedule is that on the first week of the month we look to release a blog that is co-authored with the partner. That blog post is promoted across all of our social media channels. On the 9th of the month roughly whichever is the Monday or Tuesday in the second week of the month, we look to send out the first promoting the webinars with that partner. These webinars will to be prerecorded and provided on-demand. We do these prerecorded rather than live in most cases just to make it an easier process to manage them for our partners and and our team, and we’ve also seen better engagement when the audience has the flexibility to view the recording on their own time. Finally at the end of the month, we will send out your campaign. The campaign is not an about the webinar, it's an about a small piece of content something behind a landing page that provides the final opportunity to capture a lead. The way we structured it is very intentional and we’ve learned a lot along the way in terms of best practices. All Content for any monthly campaign must be received the month before. Blog & Video must be in my the 15th of the previous month.

So as you can see, our marketing activities have the potential to provide our members with some real value and we only see the engagement growing as we perfect the program. Enabling your development & support team by implementing a Lab Environment With PureEngage Technology Partners have multiple options to install a Lab Environment On Premise Installation If your team is experienced in installing and running a Genesys Environment, you can order a Lab environment up to your needs. Your Technology Partnership Team has prepared a set of Lab Licenses. In case you only require trial license for a period of three month, your Technology Partner Manager can generate a trial license for your organization. Trial licenses are not intended to be extended further than three month. In case you require Genesys to install a Lab in your environment, Genesys Professional Services has prepared an installation Package for your Lab environment. The installation package includes an introduction to your Lab environment. Hosted Developer Sandbox In case you do not want to manage your own Genesys environment, Genesys provides a Hosted Developer Sandbox. Your company will get access through OpenVPN to the Hosted Developer Sandbox in order to work with Genesys Universal SDK or Genesys Web Services. You can choose between a shared or a dedicated environment. The shared environment is available as trial environment as well. You can start with a trail and go over to a 12 month subscription.

45 FAQ Is the Revenue Split just a one-time fee for each sale with no on-going maintenance associated with this as this is essentially the partners application? As you provide support – and not Genesys, Genesys does not invoice anything on the maintenance. But if you sell as a service, or subscription with ongoing monthly or yearly fees, we will do recurring billing, ideally on a yearly basis, paid up front.  Are Core Integration Partner Applications required to hook into Genesys CX cloud before they can be admitted to AppFoundry? No.  They can be hosted in your cloud or on prem.  They also do not need to integrate to Genesys Cloud initially, and can be sold exclusively in connection to Genesys on Prem or managed service deployments.  How easy/hard should integration be before an Application is rejected? Are you able to outline your expectations here? Integration will not be rejected for this reason alone.  It needs to work, and should use the most logical point of integration.  Ease of integration is not a mandate. 

46 FAQ What are the criteria for an Application to be rejected from listing in AppFoundry? Most common reason for rejection are non working apps, not using the most logical and appropriate point of integration, out of date integration (something that does not work with the current version of Genesys or non- secure integration) What ongoing criteria does an Application need to maintain to remain listed in AppFoundry ? Integrations must be kept up to date with the latest version of Genesys.  Partners must maintain a working lab and be able to take support calls.  The term of the listing contract is 2 years.  You will have 2 years before your listings get reviewed again provided we don’t receive complaints from customers. Can you describe the ideal workflow when a customer buys an Application from AppFoundry and then how it integrates with the application? Customer buys directly from you and works with you or one of your partners for implementation.  You report sales to Genesys post sale and we invoice you for the revenue share. 

47 FAQ Does the 15% rev share only include Application instances sold on AppFoundry? There is no download or payment process enabled in the marketplace at this time.  All sales are done directly with your organization.  Genesys expects partners to report all sales of Apps listed in AppFoundry to Genesys customers. Can the vendor sell the Application through their own sales channels, in addition to AppFoundry? Of course, but revshare still applies.  What policy does AppFoundry have about free products? What commissions are payable to Genesys upon the installation of these Application through AppFoundry? No commission to reps on free apps.   We will review free app submissions with the same process as paid apps. 

48 FAQ Is there a fee for listing on AppFoundry outside of the Partner fees? No listing fee, only revenue share.  In the future, when we support integration with Genesys PureEngage cloud, there will be a one time security review fee of approximately $3, USD.
