Housekeeping Mod to address Ofgem comments on legal text: Oct 2010 (15 pages) March 2011 May 2011 CMP198 Proposer Ownership of CUSC Modification Proposals Currently a CUSC Workgroup takes over ownership of any Mod referred to it CAWG recommendation that the Proposer should retain ownership. Any other party or the Workgroup can raise an alternative proposal. Also allows the Panel to agree to minor corrections to be made to the legal text (at the time of the recommendations vote). If corrections are major a further consultation on the revised text will be carried out.

Workgroup has a closed Membership No voting procedures Voting Procedures (50% attendance) No Workgroup consultation Workgroup Consultation (mandatory) Panel/CA set Workgroup timetable (up to 6 months) Panel/CA set Workgroup timetable (up to 4 months) Panel decide a Mod is an alternative (shall go to the same workgroup as the original) Workgroup agree alternatives Proposers own original and any alternative Modifications Workgroup owns original* and any alternatives Legal text shall be included prior to industry consultation but Panel can agree to exceptions (suggested text (which can be changed) is suffice) Legal text shall be provided prior to WG consultation and cannot be changed* once a Mod has been issued to industry consultation * Could be changed by CMP198
