4 Employer Pain Points Healthcare Reform Rising Costs Maintaining Competitiveness Administration Productivity

5 We are not major medical, but are voluntary and supplementary.
How AFLAC Can Help We are not major medical, but are voluntary and supplementary. 3 major possibilities that Americans face: Accidents Cancer Heart Disease

6 Accidents Accidents The average medical expenses for an accidental injury is $5,600. Example: a child breaks his leg playing hockey and requires surgery - $5,570 benefits payable. And We provide an annual wellness benefit just to encourage you to go get your annual physicals.

7 Cancer Cancer 1 out of 2 men and 1 out of 3 women will get cancer in their lifetime. We insure those who have had cancer as long as they are 5 years cancer free. Annual wellness benefit Example: leukemia patient; Aflac pays on average $35,175 under Option 3 and $52,900 under Option 4 regardless of what your major medical pays

8 Heart Disease Heart Disease
We have lousy lifestyles and heart disease is the number one killer Every 34 seconds, an American suffers a heart attack Every 40 seconds, someone in the US has a stroke. Through Critical Care Protection or Policy Riders on the Accident or Cancer plans, Aflac can help provide financial peace of mind.

9 How Does It Work?! We primarily work through employers, but can issue individual policies. Takes 3 people to create a group; about a 35% discount to group employees over an individual policy. Most of the policies are pre-tax which gives about a 25% break to the policy holder and tax write off to the employer Doesn’t cost the employer anything except time to see me If I can talk with 75% of the employees, I can offer an Aflac paid Value Added Service for a year for each employee I see. Cost is dependent on the Standard Industry Code, but most individual policies cost a Starbucks Latte each week Claims – ONE DAY PAY!! Finally, the policies are permanent and portable.

10 I want to talk to: Small Business Owners who don’t want to be their company’s expert on insurance Veteran Owned businesses since I fully understand Tricare Individual entrepreneurs who are trying to piece together an insurance plan for their family business that won’t break the bank.
