1 Objectives: - To understand the roles played by Michael Davitt, Parnell, Gladstone and the Land League in attempting to solve the land situation in Ireland. To be able to evaluate whether groups were more influential than individuals. Outcomes: - D grade – will be able to support an enquiry with evidence. C grade – will be able to explain why a person/group was important. B grade – will be able to analyse the importance of an individual/group through comparison. A grade – will be able to reach a substantiated conclusion who held the greatest responsibility. Differentiated learning : - Reading is differentiated. Literacy: - Vocab triangle added to throughout to ensure that students know the key terminology. SMSC: - Cultural – importance and role of leaders and groups in developing a nationalist belief. Comparison, where appropriate, with modern examples to compare import of leaders.
