Coordinate and align M2M activities with oneM2M (e.g. redefining scope and Work Items of M2M WGs to avoid overlapping work with oneM2M)
Study specific M2M needs of some vertical industries for further contributions to oneM2M
Promote oneM2M and adoption of standards particularly in less IT-developed industries
Address the interoperability challenges in IoT/M2M & implementation challenges
Reduce the fragmentation of standards and give timely response to market needs
Foster partnerships/alliances in the value chain across industries
