Research is only one element of the innovation chain; Market oriented organizations are needed to provide the foundation of commercialization, Enterprises that can build Products and process engineering, prototyping, testing , early stage production and validation are essential components A major part the innovation gap is in “product development and commercialization”, SME’s have a “very” important role to play.
