5 Your tasks Remember social influence is: The process by which our thoughts, feelings and behaviours are influenced by the people around us and the social roles in which people are placed. 1)Read your hand out of reasons for resistance to social influence. 2) Explain in your own words what social support are and locus of control. Ensure that you reference the studies that support these factors. 3) Complete a focus on five sheet for the Gamson, Fireman and Rytina (1982) study into social support. 4) Complete the following exam question: Don’t forget to complete the end of the lesson challenge as you go along!
