2. Award deadlines
Last Friday in September for activities between August 1 and November 30
Last Friday in January for activities between December 1 and March 31
Last Friday in April for activities between April 1 and July 31
Allows faculty to better estimate expenses, gives a truer picture of funds to be spent.
Will have an equal number of funds set aside each deadline period and will maximize those funds.

3. Faculty Development Changes
Move to two categories of activity
Presentation/research
Attendance/participation
Change to food expenditure reimbursements (forthcoming)
Brings in-line with best practices.
Questions, attend the afternoon CTE sessions tomorrow, the faculty development website, or me.
Working with ITS to develop Faculty Development website.
More faculty, more cost for conferences, so awarding of funds will be more competitive. The committee is working toward a rubric.

4. How to apply for funds Submit a proposal by the appropriate deadline
Be as specific as possible when explaining activity
Include all estimated expenses with documentation
After the activity:
Complete the project evaluation form
Complete expense report form
Tape small receipts to 8 ½ x 11 sheet of paper
Submit expense report, all original receipts, and project evaluation form to Sarah Fedirka within two weeks of activity
