The heart is a pump that pushes blood throughout your entire body.

Capillaries are very thin tubes that connect arteries to veins.
Capillaries are only one cell thick!
Capillaries release food and oxygen from the blood into cells.
Capillaries also take waste products like carbon dioxide from cells.
