2 The righteous will flourish like a palm tree.
Ps 92:12 The righteous will flourish like a palm tree.

3 Psalm 1 Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers.  But they delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do.

4 But not the wicked! They are like worthless chaff, scattered by the wind. They will be condemned at the time of judgment. Sinners will have no place among the godly. For the Lord watches over the path of the godly, but the path of the wicked leads to destruction.

Derailment is deviation in direction Direction--not intention— determines our destinations

17 Derailment is a process Walk—stand—sit

18 Matt 26:33 Peter declared, "Even if everyone else deserts you, I will never desert you.“
Mark 14:54 Meanwhile, Peter followed him at a distance and went right into the high priest's courtyard. There he sat with the guards, warming himself by the fire.

19 Derailment takes place when external force overcomes your internal strength

20 Counsel of the wicked Way of sinners Company of mockers

21 Counsel—whose voice are you listening
Prov 8:1—Wisdom calls out Prov 9:15—Folly calls out

22 Prov 7:21-23 So she seduced him with her pretty speech and enticed him with her flattery. He followed her at once, like an ox going to the slaughter. He was like a stag caught in a trap, awaiting the arrow that would pierce its heart. He was like a bird flying into a snare, little knowing it would cost him his life.
