2. Today I will have a fire drill
Today I will have a fire drill. A fire drill is something I practice in case of an emergency.

3. This will help me in case there ever is a fire at our school.

4. I will hear the fire alarm
I will hear the fire alarm. I don't like the noise, but I don’t get frightened. I think to myself that the bell will be over soon.

I will line up quickly and quietly with my class. I will listen for Mrs. Scott’s directions. Mrs. Scott knows what to do.

6. I will leave the school with my class and try my best to walk quietly to the playground.

7. I will stand in line with my class and wait for the principal to tell us that it is safe to go back into the school and classroom.
