between noun (명사) and noun (명사) When using between you must have two objects. between the box and the box between the boxes The USA is between Canada and Mexico The book is between the cup and the flowers If the objects are the same. Use a plural noun. singular object “cup” plural object “flowers”

Both mean “to be higher than someone or something ”. The subject is the noun that is higher. A light hangs above / over the table. He put his hands above / over his head. 야! 돈 내놔! over Means higher than AND on top of. If it were to fall… above Means higher than But not directly on top of the subject.

5 across from l l “across from” is used to explain a subject
and object are opposite from each other. It doesn’t matter what is in the middle. The sentence structure will remain the same. l The ball is across from the box. The ball is across from the box. The ball is across from the box.

There are Is used for plural subjects. The preposition or location doesn’t matter. With multiple subjects, we use There is if both subjects are singular. With multiple subjects and one is plural, then we have some options. Just remember to use articles. flowers (plural) There is a cup to the left of the book. cup (singular) book (singular) There are flowers to the right of the book. There is a cup and book on the table. There is a cup and some flowers on the table. - OR - There are flowers and a cup on the table.
