6. Aspen Trees Climate is blamed for Aspen deaths
Seven years ago Foresters noticed a big Aspen die-off caused by Parasitical Insects
Warm temperatures and brutal drought leaves parasites eating when ever at the expense of the trees.

7. What are Bark Beetles?
They are beetles that are known for eating the inner bark of trees
Some species attacked and kill live trees
Most live in dead and weakened trees
They also have a very unique life cycle

8. Bark beetles
Climate changes playing a huge role in the population of bark beetles
Cold weather kept the beetle reproduction rate steady. Climate change is rising the temperatures allowing the population to grow!
So with more bark beetles now more trees are dying.

9. In Conclusion…
Forestry helps maintain out forests. We wouldn’t have healthy forests with the foresters who put their time and effort in helping the environment. Climate change and bark beetles are playing a huge role in killing off trees.
