8 Why do we need an international women’s day in 2018?
WORLDWIDE: 44% of women worldwide will experience physical or sexual abuse. Globally every 90s a woman dies from childbirth. 63 million girls cannot go to school worldwide. Only 22 out of 197 countries have a woman as the Head of State (Prime Minster/President) Only 24 of the fortune Top 500 companies have a woman as CEO.

9 Why do we need an international women’s day in 2018?
UK: In England and Wales, 2 women are killed every week by their partner. Men are paid 13.9% more than women – on average £5000 a year more. 1 in 10 women get demoted to a more junior role when they return to work. Women underrepresented in STEM. 4 times as many boys take A level Physics than girls.
