9 Reading at School Between now and the end of term all children will come home with a reading book, set of words and a reading diary. All children will be heard read at least once a week by a member of school staff. Children will be heard more than once whenever possible. Children’s reading books will be changed once a week

10 Reading at Home Children that read regularly at home make better progress. Just 5/10 minutes of reading with your child EVERY DAY makes a huge difference to your child’s confidence and attitude to reading. A comment or smiley face to let us know that you have read together is really helpful. Well done Book bags need to be brought in to school EVERY DAY.
