6. National Diversity Case Competition
Call for Participants for CPP’s Team
The CBA is pleased to invite you to apply to be on CPP’s team for the The Kelley School of Business’ 2019 National Diversity Case Competition. The 8th annual event will welcome 35 teams from across the country as they compete for $20,000 in cash prizes during the weekend of January
Students chosen to be on the team will be provided lodging, meals, and travel to the competition. Additionally, selected team members may complete an essay about their experience after the competition to get class credit for 3 MHR units.
Deadline to fill out the application is October 17th, 2018

Presenter: Sam Henson Topic: Congratulations, Your Health and Retirement Plans Have Been Selected For a DOL Audit!
Carpool available!
Learning objectives of this workshop include:
Understand how the DOL is organized and operates;
Learn about the authority of the DOL under ERISA and what your fiduciary rights and obligations are;
Recognize how and why your Retirement and/or Health plans are selected for an audit, including red flags;
Learn about the process of the audit, what the DOL is looking for, what your obligations to provide information are, and what you can expect to occur from beginning to end;
Get tips and best practices to make the process run as smoothly as possible; and
Discuss what’s in store for employers in 2019.

12. Team Building Activity Cup & String Game
Form teams of 4
Send a representative to the front & collect:
Six cups
Rubber bands with String

13. Objective Work together as a team to stack all the cups in a pyramid.
Base: 3
Mid: 2
Top: 1
Challenge: Players cannot touch the cups!!
You may only use the rubber with string and communication!

14. Directions
Make sure you have enough space either use the desk or floor.
Start with the 6 cups stacked
4 team mates at a time will unstack the cups & create the base.
1 string per person
Alternate team mates with each level

15. First team to finish the pyramid will win a prize!
The game is over once every team has stacked the pyramid or time runs out!
If you finish, take it a step further:
Stacking cups in a unique structure
Stacking cups without speaking
Stacking cups blind:
One person will have to guide the players through it.

To practice effective communication and teamwork to complete the given task
