3. Your task today
To think about the relationship between the thickness of a branch and it’s height from the ground.

4. Branching Out
Activity 1. Groups of 3 maximum. Demonstrate measuring the circumference of a sample branch with a tape measure. A student in each group draws a two column table with the headings Variables and Values to record their answers. Provide another sheet of graph paper.
