Complete internal course by course evaluations of foreign transcripts Currently complete evaluations for all post-secondary transcripts submitted by graduate, undergraduate and Navitas applicants. Develop marketing materials for international prospects Recently developed recruitment flyers for undergraduate, transfer and graduate international recruitment efforts Future goal of creating an international applicant specific landing site on the FAU website and translated materials Develop policies and procedures to guide the admissions process 3-year degree policy Updated English language policy (currently in review) 24-48 hour response time

24 International Student Onboarding International Student Services
Contact new admits on a daily basis Run an admissions report on a daily basis to pull names of recent international admits Newly admitted students are sent a pre-arrival I-20 documentation requirements and F-1 or J-1 visa application process Pre-arrival information with required online orientation instructions Create I-20 or DS-2019 Once the applicant has submitted all of the required documentation, the I-20 will be shipped along with the letter of admission Required pre-arrival orientation and check-in registration Once applicants complete this step, the IS hold will be removed On-campus immigration check-in and orientation Required for all new international students

will be sent providing link to the application Go to: Submit one application via the google form link. Applications are due by Friday, November 9, 2018, by 5:00 p.m.

Friday, November 9, 2018: Submit Recruitment Grant and Fellowship Application Tuesday, December 4, 2018: Departments Notified of Awards Friday, December 19, 2018: Recruitment Grants disbursed to department accounts Friday, August 9, 2019: Fellowship Acceptance Forms turned into the Graduate College

29 Changes to the Presidential and Provost Fellowship Award Process
An award letter and acceptance form will be provided to each department that has approved vetted language Departments will use those templates to send their selected Presidential and Provost Fellowship recipients an award letter and acceptance form Send the Graduate College the signed acceptance form by August 9, 2019
