1932: Reconstruction Finance Corporation (RFC)
Purpose was to provide loans to banks, railroads, & other big businesses

RFC fails to bring about intended recovery
Also, created Public Works Projects like Boulder Dam (Hoover Dam) to create thousands of jobs
