2. Consideration Points of FC/CO2 family criteria
The following parameters should be included/revised in the criteria to avoid unrepresentative CO2.
System influencing to CO2, but not related to road load, and/or weight.
Device for better fuel consumption. (or CO2.)
CO2 of vehicle with such device can represent CO2 of vehicle without such device?
One value of engine capacity. (30% as current proposal seems too much.)
CO2 of 1.6 liter engine can represent CO2 of 2.0 liter engine?
Different combination of aero. and weight.
Different combination or body shape.
Scrutiny is necessary to determine the reasonable family criteria.
It is also difficult to describe the criteria appropriately in gtr without any loophole.
Transmission ratios
“N/V ratio” is better.
It is depending of the definition of “transmission ratios”. The concept is “if more than 8% of engine rpm is used, it is not same family.” as our understanding.
